## What the Launch Kit is

The Book Launch Kit is a one-time $30 add-on to the Pro plan. One kit covers one book: it takes the cover you already made and generates everything you need to promote the launch, in one click, at [beyourcover.com/launch-kit](/launch-kit).

A kit includes:

- **An Amazon Ads starter kit** — 100+ keywords grouped by match type, negative keywords, Sponsored Brands headlines, starting bid and budget guidance, and a step-by-step walkthrough for your first campaign
- **Social launch copy** — ready-to-post captions for each key moment (cover reveal, preorder, launch day), paired to your generated images, plus extra caption ideas and your newsletter announcement email
- **A launch calendar** — give it your launch date and get a day-by-day plan: which mockup or caption to post when, when to email your readers, and what to check after launch (reviews, ads, your listing)
- **An Amazon listing kit** — a ready-to-paste KDP description, 7 keyword slot suggestions and category picks, written from the book details you already entered
- **14 scene mockups** — your book on shelves, on desks and in readers' hands, plus a peel-back cover-reveal teaser, an audiobook-on-phone scene and a cozy e-reader flat lay, each in post (1080×1350) and story (1080×1920) sizes
- **Amazon A+ Content graphics** — the layout traditional publishers use: **two stacked Image & Text Overlay banners that form one artwork**. Your cover's scene is recreated without its text as a single wide image and cut into a top and bottom banner (each 1940×600, Amazon's recommended high-resolution size for the 970×300 module). Add them as two consecutive Image & Text Overlay modules, in order, and they recompose the full picture on your product page, with calmer flanks where your overlay text goes. Plus a **square module image** (600×600, for the Three-Images and Single-Image modules). Both follow Amazon's A+ guidelines: JPEG under the 2 MB file limit, no baked-in text, watermarks, borders, logos or award badges. When you add your own text in the A+ builder, Amazon's rules still apply to *you* — no pricing or promo language, no customer reviews, at most four endorsement quotes, and no "#1"/bestseller claims
- **A Facebook / Instagram ad image** — ready for a small launch-week ad test
- **A promo video** — a short animated reveal of your cover (this one takes a few minutes and keeps generating in the background)
- **An audiobook cover** — the square 1:1 version of your cover, generated on demand from the **Other formats** section (1 credit) rather than with the automatic pack, alongside a shortcut into the print-wrap editor
- **A launch checklist** — the general phase-by-phase list, alongside your personalized calendar
- **35 bonus generation credits** — they cover the whole pack, with spares for regenerating any asset you want another take on

## Buying a kit

The kit is available to Pro accounts. If you're on Pro, you'll see the offer on your dashboard, or you can go directly to [the Launch Kit page](/launch-kit) and add it there. Each purchase is one kit; if you publish more books, you can buy another kit for the next book — from the **New Launch Kit** tile in your dashboard's Launch Kits tab, or the purchase card at the bottom of the kit page.

## Choosing the book and cover

After buying, pick which book is launching — one kit covers one book, permanently. On the kit page you then choose which of that book's covers everything builds from: your **favorited cover** is preselected (or the newest one if you haven't favorited any), and the **Change cover** button lets you pick any other cover of the book before generating. Regenerated assets use whichever cover is selected at that moment, so you can also switch covers between regenerates.

## Generating and downloading your pack

The kit page is organised as a four-stage launch runway — **1 Package it** (all the images), **2 List it** (your Amazon listing), **3 Promote it** (ads and social copy) and **4 Schedule it** (the calendar) — with a credit counter in the page header (it turns red when you're running low) and a sidebar showing your overall progress, remaining credits, and the download button; the sidebar stays in view while you scroll.

Stage 1 also has a **Style** row: on **Auto** every scene is dressed to match your book's genre automatically, or pick a preset (Cozy, Minimal, Moody, Luxe, Summer, Autumn, Winter holidays) to set the mood yourself — it applies to the mockups and the ad image, and switching presets before a regenerate is the easiest way to get a different take on the same scene. Hit **Generate my Launch Pack** in stage 1 and the images and copy kits generate in parallel — most finish within a minute. Stage 1 also has an **Other formats** row: a one-click slot for the audiobook cover, and **Create print wrap**, which opens the full wrap editor right on the kit page — design the front, spine and back for your trim size and page count, then export the print-ready PDF without leaving the kit. The promo video starts last and takes a few minutes; it appears on the kit page when ready.

- Click any finished image to view it full-size. Each finished asset has its own download button. The audiobook cover downloads at print quality (2400×2400) — it's upscaled automatically the first time, like the standard audiobook flow.
- Need extra variations — say, a couple more feed posts? **Generate more images** at the bottom of stage 1 opens the full scene picker: any scene, either format, any style, 1 credit each, as many times as you like. Every extra take is its own asset — it gets its own tile (marked "extra") and its own file in the zip, alongside the pack's originals. The **regenerate** button on any tile is different: it replaces that tile's image with a new take rather than adding one.
- **Download everything (.zip)** packs the images (mockups, ad image, A+ modules — including every extra take you've generated), the promo video, the print-quality audiobook cover, every written deliverable (listing kit, ads kit, social copy, calendar, checklist), and **every print-wrap PDF you've exported** — one per format, with the binding, trim size and page count in the filename. Wrap drafts you haven't exported yet aren't included: export them from the wrap editor first.
- Any asset you don't love has a **regenerate** button (the circular-arrows icon); regenerates use your bundled credits (1 credit per image).
- If an asset fails to generate, the credit is refunded automatically — just hit regenerate.

## The Amazon listing kit

The listing kit gives you a hook line, a description formatted for the KDP description box, seven keyword-slot suggestions and three category suggestions. Copy buttons sit next to each part. Two tips:

- Amazon already indexes your title and subtitle, so the keyword slots deliberately avoid repeating those words.
- Category paths change occasionally on Amazon's side — double-check each suggested path exists in KDP's browse tree when you publish.

You can hit **Rewrite** for a fresh take (up to five per book).

## The Amazon Ads starter kit and social copy

Both generate automatically with your pack. The ads kit gives you copy-paste keyword lists (broad, phrase and exact match), negative keywords to protect your budget, headline options for Sponsored Brands, honest starting bids for your genre, and a numbered walkthrough you can follow with the Amazon Ads console open. Treat the bids as starting points — check performance after a week or two and adjust.

The social copy pack pairs a caption (with hashtags) to each key launch moment and tells you which of your generated images to post it with. It also includes extra caption ideas for BookTok and Instagram, and a plain-text newsletter announcement with a subject line. Every block has a copy button, and **Rewrite** gets you a fresh take (up to five per book each).

## The launch calendar

The calendar is the one piece that needs something from you: your launch date. Pick it on the kit page and hit **Build my calendar** — you get a day-by-day plan that schedules your actual assets and copy ("post the shelf mockup with the cover-reveal caption", "send your newsletter announcement") from the weeks before launch through the first follow-ups after. Changing the date and regenerating replans around the new date.

## Relationship to the marketing tools

Pro users can always generate individual marketing assets (mockups, ad images, promo video) one at a time from any cover's **Export & Print** menu, paying per asset from their own credits — see [Marketing resources](/docs/marketing-resources). The kit is the done-for-you version: everything at once, credits included, plus the listing kit and checklist which are kit-only.
